I've been wanting to make some stenciled shirts for YEARS, and since I found some nice shirts on sale for super cheap this week, I'm finally taking the plunge. But, since I will probably be making more shirts than I can ever possibly wear -- especially when you consider I seem to wear the same three shirts every week -- I wanted to get a little market research going in hopes that I can sell a couple of shirts here and there to help cover some of my upcoming dental expenses. - One of the chickens was stuck in their feeder this morning. We don't ever have to worry about them taking over the world. Have no fear. The Nobel Prize in physics is safe. (They're SO stupid...)

- Scored my teaching gig for the summer. \o/ A whole twelve days of employment for me. Woo-hoo! I also sent out two resumes for graphic design work yesterday.

- My life is still in boxes, or unpacked and in a heap.

- Sorry I'm avoiding the 'net, I'll be back soon, I promise. I have to read skylark97's Star Trek fics! =D

Captain America #49 came in the mail today! <3 I was so happy. My boy Bucky Barnes didn't show up, but that's okay. It was good issue anyway. Although, I still have no idea what is going on. But! The most important thing we learned all issue is that Sharon is friends with Kenny Rodgers. (Not really, but the dude looks enough like him to make me get "the Gambler." stuck in my head.) Next month is supposed to be ALL SORTSA BUCKY. It will be a gooood month.

Speaking of comics, bought tickets today for a midnight showing of Wolverine. I'm not so much a fan girl as it's the only time I can get off campus.

Anyway!



1. I made monkey bread for the residents tonight. All gone now! 2. A view of town from the college the other day. 3-5. Early summer shots from around the house. I'll be back there in May.

1. The COOLEST Earth Day shirt I've ever seen. Found at Sam's Club. 2. I celebrated Earth Day by taking the first step in my own little "back to the land movement -- I bought CHICKENS! 3. Lil has laid claim to the chickens. 4. Toby was promptly attacked by Lil after this photo was taken, 'cause he was looking at HER chickens.

1. A sample of the decade paintings I was working on all last week -- I still have a number to finish up. 2. The diner over in Fairmont where the folks and I celebrate my not getting into grad school. 3-4. Toby and Lil when we went for walkies last Saturday. 5. Easter lily -- that got killed when it snowed on Monday. 6. Cookies the girls in the building and I decorated this evening. 7. Ty stripping. (Wanted)

Done... last week? (Time seems to be dragging on forever for me.) For Sarah. =D

Ralph and Nadine have a house -- with a bathroom! (When I was designing Pigsy and Lou's place, I kept forgetting to include one, so they got an outhouse.) There are a couple of key scenes that play out in there, so I made sure to fit it in in some reasonable fashion. Having stacks of old housing plan catalogs around the house can be a big help sometimes.

Saw Taken with my folks earlier today. It was pretty good for an action flick. I get the feeling every parent who walks out of there will give their children the biggest guilt trip imaginable about calling to check in with them when they ask. I know I got one! =D (And yes, I did call when I got back to the apartment.)
